    A React Native smart-control app that builds its screens from each unit's hardware configuration and controls climate, lighting, tanks and diagnostics over a real-time WebSocket and Protobuf link.

    Health care staffing

    Software engineering for a health care staffing company.

  3. Connected-vehicle mobile apps

    React Native apps for a major automaker's brands, with vehicle telemetry, GPS tracking and remote commands, backed by a Jest suite at 90% coverage.

  4. State title system modernization

    Migrated a public-safety agency's legacy API to REST, launched a faster lookup API, and moved the team to weekly CI/CD deployments on .NET.

  5. Company web platform

    Rebuilt a software company's site on React and Next.js with Contentful and GraphQL, on a serverless AWS backend with containerized deployments.

Cold Hearth LLC is an Ohio software engineering firm founded and run by Dawson Eakins, a full-stack developer with a B.S. in Computer Science from Franklin University and years of production work across mobile, web, government and automotive software.

You work directly with the engineer writing your code. No hand-offs, no account managers, and plain answers about scope and schedule.
